In the mid-1980s, after several years as Marketing Manager/Director, Brian switched to the agency side as Managing Director of THBW, O & M Direct (Now Ogilvy One), and Saatchi and Saatchi Direct.
This was followed by 25 years as self-employed Marketing Consultant, Mentor, Trainer and Coach. Author of 5 Marketing Textbooks, 3 of which have been recommended reading for all students of the IDM Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing.
Brian is an honorary Life Fellow of the IDM (Institute of Direct Marketing) since 1999. He is experienced in all aspects of marketing and advertising, training, consulting and mentoring. Managing and building businesses – THBW from 14 to 53 employees in 2 years; O & M 60 to 190 employees in 2 years.
He has planned and managed more than 700 marketing campaigns; written and delivered more than 2,000 seminars, for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, IDM and many personal clients, on all continents.
Brian has coached for more than 30 years but professionally qualified and CPD Accredited since 2015, and as well as being a Business Growth Expert he has experience in Corporate and Executive fields and in Life Coaching.
Brian enjoys playing golf, skiing, walking, working out, reading, cryptic crosswords and Killer Sudoku.
